The Bitter Buyer is a well-orchestrated scam that originates with Bankcard Empire.  The Bitter Buyer is a New York State company owned by Christina Saldana, who is the Chief Financial Officer of Bankcard Empire.

The Bitter Buyer poses as a recovery company that is there to assist people in their efforts to get money back from scams which have taken their money.  In fact, The Bitter Buyer is "just another (Bankcard Empire) ploy to try to get them to sign a contract and to be taken for more money."

This suspicion has been confirmed through the interview of a Bankcard Empire employee and the statement of a former Bitter Buyer employee.  This was featured on ABC television.  The decisions at the Bitter Buyer were allegedly made by Leslie Mersky, who was arrested on fifty-one (51) felony counts in the Bankcard Empire raid.
